Starting as a small team, we’ve grown into a family of passionate, caring assessors dotted across the country. Guided by Dr. Beulah van der Westhuizen’s ground-breaking research in neuro-development, we provide valuable insight on a child’s situation – valuable for both teachers and parents. Tell us a little about The Assessment Center™?
The Assessment Center™ was established in 2018 with the goal to provide much needed specialised assessment services, not only to EduExcellence, but also to learners outside of EduExcellence Schools. We started with a small team, and now have successfully trained a national team of assessors to use a specific assessment protocol, and to utilize our unique IMAP™ approach. We provide assessment services to clients in Cape Town, Gauteng and Online (national and international).
Why is The Assessment Center™ different from other assessment providers?
Our assessors are trained in a specific, unique approach by Dr. Beulah van der Westhuizen at the Neuro-Dynamics Academy™. We are guided by her years of research in neurodevelopment. Dr. Beulah is known for, and received an international award for, developing the unique IMAP™.
We value spending quality time with our clients, we welcome their uniqueness, and we bring a unique assessment approach, providing valuable insights for parents to during feedbacks. Inclusion of neuro-diversity in the traditional educational system. At The Assessment Center™ we try, as far as possible, to provide practical recommendations to assist children's development and learning at home and school.
